Lunch at the Circus in Bath and climbing the Tor

Hello my lovelies, just a bit of an addition to the last few days and last week's pics. I had forgotten that I had taken a couple of pics through the week, where I had gone to sit and have my lunch hour a couple of times. The first being the famous "Circus" which is the circle of flats or buildings that has a nice little park in the middle, and I decided to walk up there one day for lunch. Only problem, 1 solitary bench to sit on in the whole park, not intending on people staying long them? It's one of the stops for the Tourist Attractions, the on a and off bus, I like to call it!

You can see the curve of this part of the street, unfortunately I cannot take an arial shot of this, which would give you a perfect view of how it looks :) you have to buy a post card to get those views lol

The awesome trees in the middle!

Another day this week, I went to another park, Queen's Square, which is right in the centre of Bath, right near the Museum and has lots of seats around and lovely green grass, a monument as well, which I haven't had the chance to read, too many tourists lol it was almost pleasant sitting having my lunch, which looked pretty boring, I was on the dregs of what was in my fridge and cupboard, but still keeping it healthy :) Tuna and Salad

Actually looks nicer than it tasted, the tin fish wasn't that nice, I have been spoilt with cooking my own salmon, but will have to wait for the specials again in Tesco's, so I can purchase a side of Tuna :)

Apart from the sirens screaming in the background! (The ambulances have to treck through the centre of Bath to get to the RUH, which is a bit of a pain :( I sat watching this cute little 2-3 yr old boy playing ball with his Mamma and talking in French, Awww he was so cute! I couldn't take a pic of him, he would have run off :(

Sunday afternoon, it's time for a bit of an outing, the morning weather was a bit average, Rani called into see me and she said "do you feel like walking the Tor, this afternoon?" So after an hour we headed off to Glastonbury, decided that we would go to the White Water Spring which has been there since the 1812 or something like that, we went through the Chalice Well first and sat by the Well for a bit of healing and it was so beautiful in the gardens there, so quite and not many people about, we mosied on up to the Water Spring and actually went into the cave of where it originates and there were candles everywhere and apparently you can still drink the water, it's meant to be very good for you :) we both splashed a bit around our Faces and then started up the road to the Tor, quite a steep walk, watch out for those bloody Nettles! Geez there out in full force I see! OMG I am so much fitter than the last reck up the Tor, apart from a dicky Knee, I managed much easier, didn't need my puffer going up this time and didn't have that 15 kilo child on my back this time, like last time lol taking that weight off has been heaven on the joints! Although I do suspect, after several falls onto the knee, it does groan a bit on too many steps, particularly coming down!

Pitty a out that box down there, forgot to photoshop that out!

It is a steep steep walk up here and today, it it soooooooo windy, don't want to get to close to the edge!

Go Rani!
I almost blew away talking this shot lol, glad I had a cammy on under my shirt, because my shirt blew open with the force of the wind! I had to sit down on the stone, where we tried to read the map, as it was about to be lift off! But to tell you the truth, it was what I needed, Rani was right, I needed to clear away the cobwebs, and I Literally did that!

Nice hair do lol

Thanks for the cheer up today Rani x I needed it :) All ready now to face work this week, but more importantly the interview tomorrow. Will appreciate all good vibes around 1pm Uk time or that would be 8pm Oz time :) so just as your sitting down for a movie, I'll be doing my spelling and writing test before my interview. I'm asking all my Angels and guides and family and friends to help, I want this job! I know I'm perfect for this role! This is a step in a new career path too for me :)

That is about it for now as I am about to go get some scrumptious chicken thighs out of the oven and have some veggies with them and then I'm going to sit and relax for the remainder of the night, do the nails, write out my questions for the interview and watch a movie and head to slumberland :)

Lots of love to you all till next week xxxx

Visitors, Port Isaac, Tintagel and back Temping

Hello to my beautiful family and friend's. What a busy and eventful week it has been! I have been on the go since last Sunday, which I have to say didn't start out well. I initially had a bad night sleep Saturday night for what ever reason, think it was because I was a bit excited about seeing Lita and her mum Barbara who were to arrive sometime Sunday arvo.

I woke up early around 5am, it was very light, but I was not ready to get up, so got a nice cup of tea, a couple of panadol and after a trip to the loo, headed back to bed, drank my tea, low and behold, curled up again and before I knew it, was sound asleep again and then all of a sudden something woke me up with a jolt! I jumped up and looked at the clock in the kitchen and it was just after 10.30am shit! Where had that time gone, I had slept like a log the past five hours!

Just as well I got up, Lita had just phoned, she and Barb were already in Shepton Mallet and were waiting to hear from me. After calling her, was about to give instructions of how to get to my place, when my phone died, no credit left! Dam! So I waited a while, didn't hear back fom her, so thought I better go try and meet her, so off I trot to Shepton Mallet to where she said she was, but in the mean time, they had come my way and then got lost again and rang again this time I was in Shepton Mallet and they were in the village :( in my haste to get back to the village, I came up to a give way sign about to take off, a car in front was about to take off too, except didn't, hesitated as there was a car to our right, they ended up turning without indicating, I thought the car in front saw them turn, so I went to take off, too soon, next minute, I'm up the back of the car in front as they hesitated :( couldn't believe it, I haven't had a prang in over 6 yrs! More like 10 yrs just when I don't need it :( the other car only had a couple of scratches, but my bonnet, is a bit bent :( it is still driveable, thank god!

After that little mishap, I finally caught up with Lita and Barbara and got them to follow me back home. Note to friends coming here, the GPS will get you lost, it doesn't take you to my door, better off finding the Nursing home as you come into Oakhill and then as soon as you see the 30 mile an hour sign, make a left turn, follow that to the end of the road and call me :)

We finally spent the afternoon together had an early night and I got up early to go report my little mishap to the police station, all to no avail! only had to ring the insurance company it seems, got that sorted and then we were on our way to Cornwall :)

Finally made it to the Old School Hotel :) our own little roof top balcony, where we decided to have a bit of a cuppa and then Lita and I went for a big walk around Port Isaac, so she could get all her pics :)

Oops Barbara , caught you! Sorry!
Bloody big gulls over here! Turns out they are Turns! Or something like that!
Tide is still out!
Beautiful friend Lita xx The Doc's residence in the background!
The next day, we left Port Isaac and were heading back home to Somerset and decided to go find where King Arthur was born, a cute little place called "Tintagel"
We came across a castle overlooking this beautiful coastline, which must have been the original site near the area where King Arthur would have been :)
King Arthur's Round Table
Need to send a letter to Merlin? :)

Inside the Castle we has a mooch around and ended up having a cream tea :) for the Aussies, that's a Devonshire tea :) next minute we were being shown around by the owner, who had previously met us at the font door, in his shorts and t shirt lol he was the Artist in the place, a little eccentric, and took us down to his basement, played us some guitar and piano and then preceded to his "art studio" until we were shown his "light show" and ultimately put the hard word on, to purchase one of his canvas'!

What other decor would a knight possibly have? Lol
Parked the Astin Martin out front again :)

Near Pultaney Bridge in Bath :)

It is now the following weekend, I have just had a very busy week working for Andrew Walker Residential Letting in Bath :) have a 2 week contract, whilst the boss is away in Spain, I'm doing his job, looking after the Lettings and arranging viewings and also being an admin support, which is a nice change. I'm looking forward to an interview on Monday, going for a Deputy Registra's position in Bath, so all positive vibes accepted :)

Today was shopping day, I was able to fill up the cupboards and buy fresh veggies again, so I actually am feeling a lot better. Was nice to have some money, even if it was only from two days work, it helped pay for some groceries :)

Got to send a message to my Helen today, was hoping to face time with her, but she has already left with Shanelle for the US, have a safe trip girls! And have a wonderful time!

Well that's about the extent of my week people :) hope you have had a great week too! Until next blog, I'm sending you all my love xxxx
