More adventures :)

Hello to all my fabulous family and friends :) What a life I am leading! I apologise for the lack of posts of late, I am a tad distracted at the moment, but when I can, I will try and fill you all in on my news.

My weekends are now filled with much love and joy, it's such a wonderful change for me, I must say! I of course have always had the love of my beautiful children Robert and Helen ( at least in life I got one thing right, having given birth to two of the most beautiful souls that have given me so much love and I wouldn't have wanted to change that in any way, (you both make your mumma so proud) my family and beautiful friends, but the one thing that I always dreamt of was having the love of a man, whom I could share my life with, someone who would treat me with respect, love me for me, someone who would make me laugh and an added bonus someone who loves life and dancing, yes I said dancing, as much as me! Giacomo where have you been all my life?

When I thought all of my chances of love had passed me by, I filled my life with new adventures, seeking out new places, meeting new people, going places that I had never been before, getting on with my lot, so to speak, I was happy and content in my own way, but when I did see couples in love around me I would feel a pain in my heart, I guess being hopeful that my beloved man would find me, no matter how big the world is, he would "know" where to find me. When I finally trusted and had faith, that all was well in my world and if I was meant to be with a wonderful man, he would find me, not the other way around, I wasn't going "hunting",

Then it happened one day at my work, when I met a crew from the other office, a gentle man smiled at me and I immediately felt this electricity surge through me, he gave me the traditional European kiss on both cheeks, I found myself wanting to pretend to miss and plant a bug kiss on his lips lol oh dear, whatever is the matter with you Alana? I then walked away feeling awkward, but managed to smile a lot and make conversation, so I must have seemed ok.

Our next meeting was the "Christmas" work function. I had been working for a couple of months now, but hadn't seen him since. I was quite excited about going to the event anyway, to meet all the staff properly and their other halves :). Started taking photos around the table, half way through the night, I decided it was a way of moving around and saying hello to everyone. Walked over to the other table and I was struck my lightening! Lol OMG Giac was there, all dressed up, looked so smart, I didn't even know if he was married at this stage, I was introduced to his "friend" hmmmm what did that mean exactly I could hear myself saying in my mind. I got someone at the table to take a pic of me, little did Giac know he was in the pic :)

We were pretty cute together then even when we weren't officially together :)
A couple of weeks ago, we went to Cricket St Thomas for a day trip, we initially though there was a zoo still there, but apparently the animals have been gone since 2009, but the drive in the country with my darling was well worth it, beautiful day, great weather, spring flowers blooming everywhere! We had a big walk around two lakes that back onto the hotel at Cricket St Thomas. Here are some of the pics, also the manor house is where they Produced the film "To The Manor Born" for all those fans back home :)
Cute lambs awwww xxxx
Rude to point, but in this instance Giac was pointing at his darling (me :)
The Manor House in "To The Manor Born"
It was so beautiful around these lakes, there were seats where you could sit, meditate if you felt like it!
We found all sorts of wildlife down by the water, lots of pheasants calling to each other, such dopey birds, but the males are beautiful to look at!
It's now the following weekend, both Giac and I had to forego our beloved Friday night dance as tomorrow he takes off on the Mendip Rally in his beautiful 1965 S Type Jaguar, along with his grandson Olivet as Navigator. ( I can't go with him this time, Oliver had been excited for some time about going, so I was delegated photographer when they got back to the Wells Cathedral at 2.30pm. There were over 100 cars, I didn't take pics of them all, but ones that took my fancy!

Get ready, start your engines, go! Giac and Oliver leaving at the start of the Rally run.
One pic for Inga and Robbie :)

Hi Oliver, looking very cool there :)

Well done Giacomo and Oliver!

Congratulations for a great job xx

Going Back to the Future Giac?

At the end of the day, Giac's lovely family came to see him. I only managed to get this photo, as my camera battery was too low. We were leaving and his other beautiful daughter arrived with her her daughter, they had rushed from swimming, just in time to have a bit of a look around, I think by this time Giac was really tired after the long drive, so we headed home and revived with a coffee and it was an early night for him and I travelled on home to Westbury for an early night as work in the morning!

I hope you all have a fabulous week and I will be posting another post very soon. We have another bank holiday coming up, Giacomom has family over from Italy, so lots happening, so until next time, I send lots of love to you all xxxxxxx
