Hi everyone :)
Just a very short message today as I'm still recovering from a week long bout of Bronchitis and Asthma and raging Temps :( not the sort of thing you relish coming to England! I blame my friend for giving me her germs, she was sick just before I got my bugs! Anyway onward and upward as the saying goes, well I'm trying to stay upward! It has been a challenge this week. I have good news though, even when the job hunting has proved slow this week, I have good news on the home front. Yayyyy I now will have a roof over my head for the next 5 months at least! The Letting Agent rang me yesterday to let me know they are going to let me have it :) Doesn't leave much in the pocket for spending now, so that special job best come forth now, do you hear me? Lol. Although maybe if I don't start till next week as I'm still needing rest, the dr says. I wouldn't care as long as I got a call for an interview :) I have got to the point that I have applied for so many online, that I can't remember who they are for! Some of the latter ones when I realised I was able to save the job online on the relevant agency. They only contact you if you get on the short list here apparently, although I did get one "no" reply, but I sort of expected that, as they were looking for someone younger, but I thought apply anyway :)
I need to muster up some strength to go into Wells today, to fix the pin on my bank card, went to use it the other day "no can do!" How embarrassing! Fortunately I had some cash on me. Might take a browse of the "charity" furniture shop, you never know what they might have! I will have an unfurnished flat, but it does come equipped with a built in fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, so really I only need the essentials, a bed and something to sit on for starters! Anyone coming to visit in the near future, the spare room has nice carpet so far! Lol There is always a blow up mattress, (not doll!) although whichever you think might be the most comfortable :) I'm planning on other furniture later, when I'm financial. Thanks to Helen, she has steered me in the right direction of the "cheaper" Retail outlets xxx one thing I will say, food is quite cheap here, which is good as the wages are something else! I did realise that before coming but just not as bad as they truly are!
Anyway no pics today, been stuck indoors for days with this Bronchitis! I promise come the weekend that I will be keeping well away from the traffic in around Glastonbury, because it will be manic, but with a bit of luck, might here some good music from here :) at no extra charge. I am thinking of going for a drive south a bit to Weston Super Mare and over near the coast, as the weather is promising to be lovely. Camera with me, off I shall trek!
Until my next post, love to you all xxxxx
