Road trip to The Yorkshire Dales, Airton, Pendleton and Darwin and some cruising closer to home :)

Hello my lovelies xx such a busy time at the moment, can't seem to find a few moments to sit down and write my blog! For the past three weekends, I haven't been home, no food in the cupboard, washing piling up in my laundry basket, bedroom is starting to resemble a tip! Part of the reason for that is my sudden eagerness to travel somewhere on weekends, and the other reason will become apparent very soon to many :)

Not the weekend just gone, but the previous one, I had a wonderful weekend with my dear friend Rani, we went for a road trip up to the national park on the outskirts of the Yorkshire Dales. It was a considerably long trip, up the M5, then onto the M6, we went to a little place near the Moores, just after Aiton. We stayed at this lodge or ad it was called 'Newton Hall'

Such a beautiful view :)

This was the main driveway into the place, after our GPS taking us all the way to the next couple of villages and then across the Moores, we eventually found a little pub which gave me directions to Newton Hall. That was after walking around the Main Street, looking like the tourist, even went into the YMCA, had a guy chatting to me, as soon as I opened my mouth and he realised I wasn't from the area, he then started telling me about someone he knew from Australia haha. It's amazing how many people have friends or family there! But everyone I talk to, can't believe it's vast size!

Thanks Rani! (Sneaking pics)
Yes I can see you this time! Outside the pub :)

Such a pretty little village :)

We discovered what was the old school house, was now infact, someone's home!
Pendle Hill
As Rani and I started to walk up the steep slope at the base of Pendle Hill, look what we saw (below)

Rani's rellies :) made us feel very welcome xx

As we had to stop several times on the way home at services along the Motorway, I just happened to look up and saw all these nests, the birds had been making in the trees. Look amazing!

Well remember when I said I have been busy? This pic may just give you a clue :) Wined, dined and spoilt as well, getting a Sunday drive :)

Isn't she beautiful!
One of the most expensive private schools in Britain - Millfield

My lovely friend Giacomo (Jack) whom I met at work, with whom I spend most of my weekends dancing my legs off and learning Italian :)

Meyer was the founder of Millfield school in 1935. so much money in this school, mostly sport orientated, the grounds were so lovely.
